Organic Traditionally Cured Picnic Ham 🎄
Not a traditional leg ham, this ham is made from the shoulder, also known as a picnic shoulder. With only the shank bone remaining it carves very easily and looks like a petite full size ham on the dinner table.
We start with slowly grown, heritage breed, certified organic pigs, renowned for their flavour and tenderness. We source our pork from White Clover Farm, a family run certified organic farm near Bendigo.
Our ham is produced using traditional methods and care, each pork leg is cured traditionally. The ham is smoked for 12 hours over red gum wood chips to create a depth of flavour.
These pigs are free to eat as they please, resulting in varying fat quantities in our hams given our pig's natural diet. (This is a contrast to factory farmed pork which are fed a daily ration of food to minimise fat content).

Choose between 4.5kgs & 5kgs
While every endeavour will be made to allocate your preferred weight range, we cannot guarantee the size of these natural products however will do our very best and contact you to arrange an alternative should we not be able to meet your requirements.

Pork from certified organic pigs, salt, honey, mineral salt, nitrite.
Price
The price of your ham is based on a price of $52.00 per kg. If your ham weighs less than the weight you have selected your credit card will be refunded the difference when your ham is allocated to you. If your ham weighs more - that's our Christmas present to you!
Delivery
Place your order asap to ensure availability, you will be able to select your preferred delivery date between Wednesday 13th December and Friday 22nd December.
Delivery Information
Cherry Tree Organics offers a home delivery service throughout Melbourne (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays) and country Victoria (generally on Wednesdays and Saturdays).
Place your order online by 9pm at least two days before you would like your delivery. (For example, if you require a Wednesday delivery, please place your order before 9pm on Monday).
Our butcher will prepare your order for you fresh the day before it’s delivered. If any products are unavailable, we’ll contact you the afternoon before delivery via email (you won't be charged for any products which aren't available).
Your meat will then be delivered to your chosen address in our Primesafe accredited refrigerated vehicle.
Delivery is free for orders over $250.
Delivery costs $25 for orders less than $250.
Orders less than $50 can be picked up from our butcher shop in Beaconsfield.
